Built To Your Specifications & Industry Standards
Based on the system data you provide, we start by designing each condenser, feedwater heater, or power plant exchanger on an individual basis to meet the specifications of your system, site requirements, and specifications, as well as Heat Exchange Institute Standards with full attention to every detail. Our engineering staff considers every element that will affect efficiency over your specified plant operating range to offer you the best possible heat rate over the widest range. The result is a final product that has been specifically engineered and built to meet the needs of your application and perform at full efficiency.

Integrated CAD System for Reliability
SPX Heat Transfer’s CAD system is integrated from initial design through manufacturing. Its capabilities range from two-dimensional drawings with direct computer interface for bill of materials generation to three-dimensional parametrically driven models of components and assemblies. The system yields more standardization, quick response to customer needs, lower levels of rework or revisions, and higher field fit-up reliability.

Service Connections Prevent Down Time
Service connections are designed for both static and dynamic reactions and to cope with potential erosion. We give the same attention to these connections as to the unit itself because we believe a service connection malfunction should never be the cause of equipment being taken off-line.

Fabrication Expertise
Encompassing nearly 230,000 square feet, the SPX Heat Transfer facility is purpose-built for fabrication of heat transfer equipment, enabling the highest levels of quality for custom and precision manufacturing per ASME Section IX Welder Performance Qualification.
