SPX Heat Transfer has a full engineering staff and has the capability to perform engineering studies. These studies can be performed on all condensing units supplied by SPX Heat Transfer or on other manufacturer’s equipment. Please find a listing below of some of our capabilities:

• Piping analysis internal to the condenser body
• Condenser performance analysis based on field measurement data (provided by others)
• Anaysis and resolution of tube bundle performance problems
• Condenser life extension analysis with recommendations for modification
• Trouble shooting Steam Jet Air ejector (SJAE) problems
• Tube vibration anaysis
• Development of technical specifications
• Waterbox replacements including studies and reports
• Finite Element (FEA) analysis of condenser components such as waterboxes
